A: Recognize that every sin is birthed from a self-centered platform and that you were never created for sin or self—present your members to righteousness instead of sin, allowing your right standing with God through the blood of Jesus to work holiness in you without striving for it as a trophy. ✝️ Q: What does it mean to die to sin through baptism? A: Baptism symbolizes being baptized into Christ's death (Romans 6:3-4), which means dying to sin once and for all—just as Christ was raised from the dead, you should walk in newness of life, understanding that your old man was crucified with Christ so the body of sin might be done away with. 🔄 Q: How do I put off the old self and put on the new? A: Take off the old garments of frustration, bitterness, anger, offense, discouragement, disappointment, and complaining and put on Christ—reckon yourself dead to sin and alive to God in Christ Jesus (Romans 6:11), understanding that if you've been united in the likeness of His death, you shall certainly be in the likeness of His resurrection. Living in Righteousness 💪 Q: How can I live free from sin's dominion? A: Understand that sin shall have no dominion over you when you grasp your righteous identity in Christ (Romans 6:14)—present yourself as alive from the dead and your members as instruments of righteousness to God (Romans 6:13), knowing there is never a moment in a Christian's life where they should live outside of righteousness. 🌱 Q: What determines the fruit I bear in life? A: What you believe about yourself is what you will serve and bear fruit according to how you see yourself (Romans 6:16)—present yourself as a slave to righteousness, which leads to holiness and everlasting life (Romans 6:22). Faith and Hope 🔭 Q: How should I view my circumstances? A: Don't live by what you see as it's subject to change—the unseen is eternal, so get your hopes sky high because faith is the substance of things hoped for and hope is the anchor to your soul, passing through the veil into His presence (Hebrews 6). 🙏 Q: How do I receive God's grace for transformation? A: Pride resists grace, but humility receives it—the grace on baptism, through the truth wrapped around it, comes on a person's life when they see and understand, making that truth their reality regardless of whether they're already saved, baptized in the Holy Spirit, or a church leader. Gospel Purpose 🎁 Q: What is the true goal of the Gospel? A: The goal is transformation of life and newness of life, not just going to heaven when you die—eternal life is knowing Him, not just praying a prayer, and the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus (Romans 6:23), which you must open and put on. 📖 Q: What does being "saved" actually mean? A: The word saved in the Bible means sozo, which includes being healed, delivered, protected, preserved, made whole, and kept safe and sound—it has more connotation on the blessing and freedom of this life than eternal life and is used more in the realm of the redemption of this life. Preaching and Teaching 🗣️ Q: What should gospel preaching focus on? A: Preaching should teach people their true identity in Christ, who they're created to be, who they're called to be, and who they've actually been living to be—showing them the difference and the error, telling them they can put away the old and become the new, which is what Jesus paid for. Overcoming ⚔️ Q: How do I overcome when lawlessness abounds? A: Though lawlessness abounds to make love grow cold, those who endure in love and live for God will be saved, healed, delivered, protected, and preserved (Matthew 24:12-13)—you overcome by the blood of the Lamb, the word of your testimony, and not loving your own life unto death (Revelation 12:11).
